I didn’t want to write this…
November 2, 2025
I really didn’t want to write this blog.
Actually, I didn’t want to do much of anything this morning.
Not write. Not think. Not DO.
And it’s all because of Wanda — my “I-don’t-wanna” persona.
She’s the part of me that believes and says:
“This is too hard.” 😩
“It’s going to take too much time.” ⏰
“Can’t we just do this later?” 🥴
Wanda shows up when I’m tired, overextended, or secretly resentful that I haven’t given myself enough space to rest.
For years, I have unconsciously let her run the show. (and obviously she still sneaks in every now and then)
When Wanda is in charge, I withdraw…. from my work, my creativity, my life and yes, especially my relationships.
Because when I’m not connected to myself, I can’t truly connect with anyone else.
Here’s the good news?
I’ve learned that Wanda isn’t the enemy.
She’s a gift! 💝
She’s my personal messenger. 📨
When I (#1) become aware of her and (#2) pause long enough to listen and (#3) get curious, I discover what she’s really trying to tell me.
In this case she was reminding me to:
“Slow down.” 🚦
“Rest.” 💤
“Take care of me before taking care of everyone else.” 💆
Once I met her with curiosity instead of judgment, something shifted.
My resistance softened. I could see more clearly.
My vibration rose and my energy returned. 👏🏼
Only then was I available to really show up; for myself, for you and for the people I love with an open heart again.
That’s the magic of self-awareness.
And guess what?
You have your own versions of ‘I don’t wanna’ Wanda too.
The parts of you that protect, resist, control, or even sabotage are not the enemy, they’re simply doing their best to keep you safe.
They aren’t problems to fix; they’re guides showing you where you’ve disconnected from yourself and what’s ready to be healed and transformed.
Your only job is to become aware of them, so you — not your patterns — are in the driver’s seat of your life.
✨ If you’d like to meet your own inner cast of characters, the parts that keep you stuck in conflict, fear, or self-protection, I created a short quiz to help you discover them.

Because the more you understand what’s happening inside you, the more available you become for love, creativity, and connection outside of you.
With love (and a load of gratitude for Wanda),
