My Virtual Trust Fall!

September 8, 2024

For as long as I can remember, I’ve reliably had this soft steady, guiding voice within me, always leading me back home to my true self, the truth within.

The thing is, I eagerly listen when I like what it says, but when I don’t, I resist

This is where the trouble begins. Disconnecting from my trusted inner voice inevitably invites drama and suffering into my life.

I can think of countless times when my inner guidance pointed me in one direction, but my stubborn ego, seeking comfort and safety, refused to listen and led me elsewhere.

Over the years, I’ve cultivated a much friendlier relationship between my trusted inner voice and my ego. I’ve learned to better discern between the two, which can sometimes be terrifying. Yet, what I’ve come to realize is that listening to that still, small voice—always guiding me toward my highest good—is profoundly liberating.

The more I lean into this voice, the less I resist, and the more I embrace a life of acceptance the more peace and empowerment I am able to access in all my moments.

That’s why when my trusted inner voice told me to share with you a recent coaching session I had with my Spiritual teacher, Maureen Riley, I listened.

In this session we talked about………

  • Alignment and Frequency: The practice of aligning with one’s true self involves accepting current circumstances and emotions, rather than identifying with them as absolute truth.
  • Acceptance and Surrender: True acceptance of where you are leads to surrendering the ego’s need for control, allowing for deeper spiritual connection and flow.
  • Awareness of Ego: Regular practices help bring non-judgmental awareness to ego-driven patterns, which often create exhaustion and distraction.
  • Connection to Source: Achieving a state of unity with consciousness requires moving beyond ego and into a higher vibration, where true empowerment and creation flow naturally.
  • Practicing Consciousness: Committing to consistent practices supports recognizing and transcending egoic patterns, leading to a more authentic and empowered state of being.

And so much more!!! It’s juicy and I think you’ll want to hear this too.

So here is to less resistance and more acceptance in life.

I am curious, how about you?

Do you listen to that inner voice or argue with it (like I do) when you don’t like what it is telling you? What do you push against, complain about, not allow or judge?

Pay attention this week and see what comes up.

I’d love to know you! Hit reply and let me know where you might not be in flow. I am here for it and for you.

in trust and gratitude,
